Artist Registration Paint Menokin
The Menokin Foundation and JART, Inc., invite you to join us for Paint Menokin--a multi-day plein air painting party set within the historic campus of Menokin's 500 acres. The event promises painters three days of artistic inspiration from the property's intriguing ruin, its Remembrance Structure, its cultivated fields and its still-wild woods. Additionally, you'll have the camaraderie of other painters, and all will be invited to display completed works at the “Wet Paint” sale and reception on Friday May 17 from 5 – 8:30 PM. We'll bring the patrons!

About Menokin and JART, Inc.
Menokin is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit historic site and wildlife preserve. It is a National Historic Landmark where Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Francis Lightfoot Lee, built his home in 1769. This home, named Menokin, is located on the ancestral homelands of the Rappahannock Tribe and retains the name from the Algonquin language. By the 20th century, the house had fallen into ruin. Today the reimagined architectural ruin, known as the Glass House Project, weaves a modern interpretation of the past into the present across 500 acres of fields, woods and waterways, preserved in perpetuity. We welcome your interpretation of this magical place.
