About the Event Date: July 17 Class: Introduction to Watercolor Time: 10 – 4:00 Price: $100 Teacher: Connie Canby This intense 6-hour class is designed to give you the hands-on skills to continue exploring and practicing on your own for a while. We will cover the basics of watercolor while exploring techniques for enhancing your creative awareness. We will do painting exercises to familiarize you with the. medium. The discussion will be about what to buy and not buy and how different papers, brushes, colors work, and why. You will be able to construct and finish a painting based on what you have learned. Some drawing instruction is included and necessary for you to continue growing in your skills and this will be fun. Then you can continue on your own or delve into further watercolor skills in ongoing monthly classes Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks included. Wine available for purchase. All supplies provided. Please bring an apron or other cover-up and paper towels.
