LATEST NEWS AND UPDATES

9 February 2022

Some of you have asked what our DIY (Do It Yourself) Creatives are. Well, the answer is really simple. We wanted to change the names of our paint parties as there are so many "Paint and Sip” activities and as we are offering so much more than just creating a new painting each month. Our teachers, Andrea Clement and Celeste Johnston teach a wide variety of creative activities other just than painting on canvas. See some pictures of our subjects below.

I’m sure you have seen Andrea’s first DIY Creative advertised on our website and elsewhere where she teaches you to paint poppies on glass. This is a very popular class and it will be offered again for those of you who missed it. Her second class is teaching you to make a Seagull Windchimes which will be held at the Artist’s Alliance in Colonial Beach. In April the class will make an Oyster Necklace to celebrate the Virginia Wine and Oyster Trail events at the Monroe Bay Winery. Other than Mother’s Day DIY Creative, Paint and Tea we haven’t announced Celeste’s events yet but she will teach, among other things, felting, painting on slate, how to make paper for your card projects, much more. These will be at our new location and will be on our website soon as will Andrea’s future DIY’s.

As you can see, we are much more than just a “Paint and Sip” and you won’t want to miss any of these events. Better yet, we will have these scheduled at a variety of venues and we are sure, there will be one near you.

Depending on where we hold these DIY Creatives, you will be able to purchase wine or bring your own. Snacks and plastic/paper products will be provided. You don’t want to miss these events as they are great fun and you will take home a completed work of art that you have created.

We also do these as fund-raising for a variety of organizations. Our next one will be to raise money for the new VFW Post #12202 at the The Estate at White Hall Vineyard in King George.

Please visit our web site for more information on these events and much more -- www.NNArtists.com
