Pictures from Saturday’s Introduction to Drawing Class using charcoal. This class was so popular, we had to schedule a second introductory class and we have been asked to have classes on drawing with graphite/pencils. We will announce our Drawing With Pencils classes soon!
We have to mention our young artist. I think he was a little intimidated when he saw he was the only youngster but he held his own. He is definitely on his way to becoming an artist and we look forward to having him in our other classes so he can enhance his skills and learns about other mediums. Who knows, we may have a budding J. Sargeant Reynolds here in the Northern Neck.
We have a Classical Drawing Class scheduled for April 14 for those who want to keep improving their skills. We highly recommend this class and Nana Gail Laurie is a classically trained artist receiving her art education at the prestigious Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore.
